Katherine Stotler

Born on December 2, 1924, in Fairplay, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lottie Ruth (Daugherty) Hennesy.

Mrs. Stotler is survived by her husband, William E. Stotler, Sr.; one son, William "Ernie" Stotler, Jr. and wife Marshelle, of Boonsboro; one sister Virginia Myers of Kingsville, Maryland; one granddaughter, Stephanie Stotler-Clever and husband Chris of Williamsport, Maryland; and two great-grandchildren, Colton and Evan Clever.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Hennesy; and three sisters, Mary Printz, Charlotte Barkdoll, and Margaret Stevens.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.  Rev. Kibreab Gudeta will officiate.  Final resting place ceremonies will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the funeral home.
