Katherine "Midge" P. Kelly

Katherine "Midge" P. Kelly, 81, of Frederick, passed from this life on Monday, July 10, 2023 at her residence.  She was the wife of the late James William Kelly, who passed away in 1987.  Born on September 4, 1941, in Edgewater, she was the daughter of the late Russell H. Paddy and Gladys Evelyn (Kirby) Paddy.

Mrs. Kelly worked at Music and Arts for many years.  She later worked at Wal-Mart in the women's apparel section.  Katherine mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Kelly is survived by her five children: Robin Rhine and husband Roy, Jim Kelly, Kathy Schwartzbeck and husband Danny, Keith Kelly and wife Nancy and Karen Holcomb and husband Craig; four grandchildren: Will Day, Jennifer Williams, Daniel Schwartzbeck and Kelly Holcomb as well as 5 great-grandchildren.  Katherine was the last of her seven siblings.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 13 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.  A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 11:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home.  Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
