Kathe Yeager

Kathe Laura Yeager passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday morning, January 16th, 2020 in Frederick.
Kathe was born in Sendai, Japan, where her father served in the military. She spent the majority of her life living in Northern California, later in LaVista, Nebraska and finally in Frederick.
She was a passionate animal lover and advocate. Her Maltese, Teddy, spent the last 14 years as her loving and faithful companion. Kathe was known to be a great baker and cook, and expressed her love for family and friends through food. It was rare to visit her home without some sort of baked treat being served.
Kathe was very proud of her two surviving children, Ryan Yeager of Frederick and Lindsay Yeager of Cortez, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Charles Middleton and her husband of 20 years, Newton Yeager.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 9411 Baltimore Road, Frederick, MD 21704.
