Karl "Johnny" Morrison

Karl W. "Johnny" Morrison, 77, of Beaver Creek, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.
Born on July 30, 1936, in Washington County, Maryland, he was the son of the late Luther H. and Mabel L. (McCauley) Morrison.
Karl was a 1954 graduate from Hagerstown High School.
He was a member of the Beaver Creek Christian Church.
Johnny spent his life working as a farmer and was a member of the Farm Bureau. He will be deeply missed and will be fondly remembered for his love of watching and discussing working farm horses.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sallie L. (Creek) Morrison; as well as many nieces and nephews, especially his nephews Eugene and Robert Creek, who provided care and love for their Aunt Sallie through Uncle Karl's illness.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.
A graveside funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Boonsboro Cemetery. Rev. J. Mark Curran will officiate.
