Mrs. June Lorraine Grove, 70 of Walkersville, Maryland passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of James “Jim” Grove. They were married for 48 years.
Born February 1, 1944 in Frederick she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Ruth Cline.
Mrs. Grove was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1962.
June was a member of Christ Reformed United Church of Christ in Middletown.
June worked in the family business at Grove’s TV and Emma’s Kitchen and previously worked at Frederick Brickworks and Potomac Edison.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and collecting old recipes. She was a member of the Purple Martin Conservation Association.
In addition to her husband Jim she is survived by her son James F. Grove, Jr and two grandchildren, Megan E. Grove and James F. Grove III. She will also be remembered by her other family members and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, July 27th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00am at Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, 12 South Church Street, Middletown with Rev. Mark Wakefield and Rev. Michelle Beadle officiating.
Interment will be in Christ Reformed United Church of Christ Cemetery.
