Julita Pearce

Our beloved mom Julita Guerrero Pearce passed away peacefully on February 22, 2017 at the age of 84- known to her loved ones as Mom, Jules, Julie, Manang, Tita Julie, Lola Jules, or L J.

Anyone who knew her knew how much she loved not just her son Edwin and daughter Cristina, but all of her nieces, nephews and their children. She was proud to have forced many of them into learning their multiplication tables and alphabet at young ages.

She was a kind, nurturing and giving woman who never looked her age, liked to share fruit, made the best Dinuguan, loved her games and British television. Her biggest wish was for all the kids she loved to study hard and accomplish their goals because she believed they could do anything if they worked hard.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, February 27 at 11am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 E. 2nd St., Frederick.  Fr. Charles Wible will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be made to the Junior Achievement of Greater Washington (www.myja.org).   In her memory we also ask that you take a moment and spend time with your loved ones- loving them as hard as she loved all of her special ones.
