Julie Ann (Wagner) Drawbaugh, 53, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at her home while surrounded by her family.
Born on January 8, 1961, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she is the daughter of Donald E. and Barbara J. (Barnhart) Wagner of Boonsboro.
Julie was a 1978 graduate from Boonsboro High School, and has been an on-going member of her reunion committee. In 1980, she received her Associates Degree from the Hagerstown Community College.
Julie held the distinction of being the 1981 Miss Washington County.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsport.
Julie was dedicated to her family and especially her children, participating in their school sports and was the Girl Scout Leader for Troop 40222 in Boonsboro.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, David J. Drawbaugh; her three children, David J. Drawbaugh, II, Donald L. Drawbaugh, and Alexis P. Drawbaugh, all living at home; two brothers, Robert Wagner and wife Pam, and Donald E. Wagner, Jr. and wife Ginny; and her sister, Bardona Woods and husband Jim. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Kathy Amos of Boonsboro; and her father-in-law, David G. Drawbaugh, III and wife Arlene, of Williamsport, Maryland.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2014, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 35 West Potomac Street, Williamsport, Maryland, 21795. Rev. Kimberly Nunberg and Rev. Greg Martin will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
