Julia C. Whitmore

Julia C. Whitmore, 94 of Walkersville, MD passed away on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Northapmton Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late John F. Whitmore.
Born June 19, 1914 in Walkersville she was the daughter of the late George Ramsbug and Maude Cramer Ramsburg.
Julia was an active member throughout her life in the Glade United Church of Christ in Walkersville.
She was a member of Walkersville Homemakers and she volunteered at the Walkersville Vol. Fire Company. She was well known for her knitting.
She is survived by a son, Ralph Whitmore and wife Irene of Walkersville, a daughter, Jean Elizabeth Whitmore of Walkersville and two grandchildren, Betsy Brannen and John Whitmore.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Frantz.
Visitation: Friends may call the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville on Friday, September 19 from 4:00-9:00 where the family will be present to receive friends from 6:00-9:00 PM.
Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20 at 11:00 AM at the Glade United Church of Christ, 21 Fulton Ave., Walkersville with the Rev. Eugene P. Bartell officiating. Interment will be in Glade Cemetery, Walkersville.
