Julia Ann Fisher

Mrs. Julia Ann Fisher, 75 , died peacefully at her Jefferson, MD home on Tuesday, March 3, 2009. She was under the care of Hospice of Frederick County, Maryland. Born in Berkley Springs, WV on October 24, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Boyd H. and Mary G. Lintz, Winchester, VA.

Julia is survived by her faithful and loving husband of 45 years, Richard Eugene Fisher, Jefferson, Maryland. She is also survived by her 3 children, Melanie Fisher, Jefferson, MD, Rev. Timothy Fisher and wife Beth, Walkersville, MD and Charles Fisher and wife Jaime, Keymar, MD. And her beloved grandchildren: Stephen, Jason, Chloe, Karis, Walkersville, MD. Nicholas, Jillian and Isabella, Keymar, MD.

Julia also leaves 2 brothers, Joseph Lintz and wife Margaret of Jacksonville, FL, James Lintz and wife Loretta of Princeton, WV and 3 sisters, Rita Lintz of Winchester, VA, MaryLou Mathieux and husband D. Matthew of Inwood, WV and Nancy Bailey and husband James of Staunton, VA. Also a sister-in-law, Mary Grabill and husband Charles of Union Bridge, MD. In addition are numerous nieces and nephews.

Julia was an active member for many years at Saint Timothy's Roman Catholic Church in Walkersville, MD. She was very involved in many different ministries of the church. She was also a regular attender of the Walkersville Community Church where her son, Timothy Fisher is Pastor.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Both locally and from afar.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, March 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD on Saturday, March 7 at 11:00AM.

Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful support they received from Hospice the past several months. Because of their loving ministry to Julia, the family is asking in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
