Mrs. Julia Anna Riley, 86, of New Market died Thursday, September 5, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of the late William L. Riley who predeceased her in 1992.
Born October 18, 1926 in Larksville, PA., she was the daughter of the late Emro and Eva Tomek Anglovich.
In earlier years, Mrs. Riley worked in the accounting industry for various companies. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering with many different organizations.
She is survived by four children, daughter, Sandra Michael of New Market; daughter, Teresa Herron and husband, Steven, of Bluffton, S.C.; son, William E. Riley of New Market; and daughter, Patricia Armstrong and husband, J.P., of Feezor, N.C.; five grandchildren, Donald Michael, Nicole Michael, Steven Bass, April Greinger and Jeremy Wells; two great-grandchildren, Austin Wells and Logan Greinger; and her sister, Teresa Rother of Stafford, V.A.
Julia was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Officiating will be the Rev. Tim May.
