Judy Anne Toms

Judy Anne Toms, 73, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life after battling with ALS on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Born on August 20, 1949, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of Lena Mae (Dieterich) Myers and the late Enos Wayne Myers.

She was the loving wife of Harry "Terry" Toms, her husband of 25 years.

Judy worked as a realtor for numerous years and Co-owner of TNT radar services.

She was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Funkstown.  Judy was also a member and past president of the Potomac Fish and Game club ladies auxiliary and a member of the American Legion Post #202 ladies auxiliary.

Judy enjoyed working in her flower gardens and watching her birds.  

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Barbie Anne Dietrich Finnerty and husband, Ron, Michael Dietrich and wife, Maggie, and Steven Dietrich and wife, Christy; grandchildren, Jonathan Copeland, Austin Dietrich, Kyler Dietrich, Jace Dietrich, Jenna Dietrich, Kolby Dietrich, Kasey Dietrich, Bailey Wilson, Candice Wilson and Paige Wilson; great-grandson, Cameron Dietrich; brother, Dennis Myers and sisters, Sharon Custer and Shirley Mills.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm  at the Williamsport American Legion Post #202, 400 American Legion Drive, Williamsport, MD 21795.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Georgetown University Hospital for their compassionate care extended to Judy and the entire Toms family.

Memorial donations may be made to in her name to ALS or the American Legion ladies auxiliary scholarship fund, 400 American Legion Drive, Williamsport, MD 21795.
