Mrs. Judy A. Overcash, 55 of Emmitsburg, MD., died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Kline Hospice House.
Born November 28, 1954 in Olney, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Willie, Sr. and Mary Brewer Lowe..
Mrs. Overcash was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. During her working career she was a home care nursing assistant. Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren, scrapbooking, making flower arrangements and crafts.
Judy was the beloved mother of her children Tracy Dillard, Trenton Aleshire and wife Rhonda, Mary Aleshire and husband Darrell Vann, Phyllis Stride and husband Kevin, Melissa Moore and husband Kenny, Jodie McAfee, and Tyler Aleshire, 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and sisters Linda McCluskey, Phyllis Reed, Wanda Hubert and her best friend as well as her sister Bonnie Jaques, and her best friend and companion William Overcash, Sr. She was preceded in death by her brother Willie Lowe, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, August 1, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., where services will be held Monday, August 2, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Janet Cummings officiating.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
