Judy Ann (Leith) Fellers, 59, of Brunswick, Maryland, passed peacefully from this life while surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Northampton Manor Health Care Center in Frederick, Maryland.
Born on July 20, 1955, in Gaithersburg, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Samuel H. and Ruby E. (Lyard) Leith.
Judy was a graduate from Poolesville High School and attended Sunday services at the Journey of Life Church in Williamsport, Maryland.
She was employed as a Cook at Bonnie's at the Red Byrd in Keedysville, Maryland, and has also worked previously at Bonnie's Country Kitchen in Lovettsville, Virginia.
Judy will be fondly remembered for her love of elephants, the color pink, blue grass gospel music, and her frugal spending habits. She dearly loved her friends and co-workers at the Red Byrd.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Harry L. Fellers; one daughter, Judy Lee Crum of Hagerstown; two sisters, Vickey S. Leith of Brunswick and Sandy Turner of Strasburg, Virginia; and one brother, Sam Leith of Williamsport. She will also be missed by her loving dog, Baby Girl.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Foster; and two brothers, Arnold and Michael Leith.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 12 noon on Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rev. Ray D. Monninger will officiate. There will be no burial service.
Friends and family are invited to visit beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the funeral home where the family will be present to receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Guests are also invited to visit at the funeral home Monday morning prior to the funeral ceremony.
