Judy Bell

Mrs. Judy Kay Bell, 64, of Mount Airy, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. She was the wife of Glendon W. "Billy" Bell, her husband of 46 years.

Born on September 3, 1951, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Edward I., Jr. and Elizabeth J. "Betty" Kriemer Delauder. She was a homemaker.

Judy loved animals and was known for taking care of any strays that made their way to her home. She liked cars and was looking forward to driving her recently acquired Corvette. Judy was a kid at heart and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends, always striking up a long conversation with them.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children: Jill E. Gosnell, Traci E. Hawkins and husband Jason, and Jodi M. Mullinix and husband Steve all of Mt. Airy; seven grandchildren: Steven James Gosnell, Chesney Lee Gosnell, Hailey Elizabeth Hawkins, Jacob Glendon Hawkins, William Steven Mullinix, Glendee Eve Mullinix and Miley May Mullinix; a brother, Timothy DeLauder of Frederick.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Glendon W. Bell, Jr. who died during the President's day snow storm on February 17, 2003.

The family will receive friends, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday, September 17, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy where services will be held on Friday, September 18, beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Wallace Lusk officiating.

Interment will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery.
