Mrs. Judith Ann Barber, 73, of Ijamsville, Maryland, passed away suddenly, Friday, March 13, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Gary Barber.
Born December 7, 1941 in Birmingham, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Darwyn and Lucille Lindmeyer Marucco.
Mrs. Barber was employed many years as a health care consultant. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her dog “Roxy”.
She is survived by three children Patrick Barber and wife Mary of Hamburg, NY, Christopher Barber and wife Susan of Wiesbaden, Germany and Jodilyn Barber and partner Michael McGee of Ijamsville, MD, eight grandchildren, siblings Janet Michelle Shwayhat and husband Joseph, Gina Ray and husband Robert and Denise Marucco all of Michigan. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by a son Daniel Barber and a sister Jackie Furgerson.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Tuesday, March 17, from 7-9pm, where a celebration of life will be held Wednesday, March 18, at 2:00 pm.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
