Juanita Netz

Juanita Lucille Netz 87, of Hagerstown, Maryland passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Hagerstown.
Born on June 6, 1923 in Keedysville, Maryland, she was preceded in death by her mother, Fannie Cecelia Thomas; her husband, William Elwood Netz; her six children, Wanda Lou, Arbutus, Leon, Darvin, Gardenia and Jerry, and her brother, Henry Powell.
She had been an employee with Victor Hosiery in Hagerstown for 12 years and at the Hanover Shoe Factory in Middletown for 26 years.
Juanita was a member of the Boonsboro Church of God and Grace Brethren Church in Hagerstown.
She is survived by her three daughters, Freda V. Burdette of Martinsburg, Delight L. Reed, both of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Joy L. Kauffman of Hagerstown; her son Wayne E. Netz of Hagerstown; thirteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Pastor Justin Repp will officiate. Burial will follow at the Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will recieve friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions payable to the funeral home are requested to assist the family in offsetting the cost of services.
