Juan Alvarado

Juan Alvarado, 69, of Frederick, MD passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Doris M. Alvarado.
Born in Puerto Rico on June 12, 1946 to the late Crispulo Alvarado and Maria C.Torres.
Juan was a stubborn, loud and opinionated man, but in his heart he truly was a loving,compassionate,courageous man. He would do anything for his family and friends. Always frank, but at the end of the day he was there; to help and to listen. Road trips, crazy jokes, dressing up like Santa, watching baseball Go O's) and of course watching his telenovela's and working on cars were just a few things to describe him. This is why he will always and forever be in our hearts.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Maria Bache and husband Justin of Frederick, Cristina Burton of Frederick, Doris Alvarado and husband Charles of Salisbury, Elia Guevara and husband Jesus of Frederick; brother Israel Alvarado and sister Elia Velazquez; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, two nieces, one nephew and their children.
He is preceded in death by his brother Luis Alvarado.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 1-2PM where a funeral service will begin at 2PM.
Interment will be private.
