Mrs. Joyce Ann Trilling, 69, of Frederick, MD passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Robert G. Trilling.
Born August 14, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Merl and Jean Ashcraft Johnson.
Joyce proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force where she was a medic for 5 years. She oversaw the military funding sites for their utilities and prior to her retirement worked as a Budget Analyst for the Navy. Joyce was an avid gardener and loved feeding her animals. She was a kind person and loved children, she enjoyed visiting local elementary schools as Mrs. Claus.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her sister Geraldine Blair of Washington, D.C.; nephew Michael Murphy; great niece Kathryn Murphy and great-nephew Michael Murphy, Jr. and numerous other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 10-11AM where a memorial service will begin at 11AM. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment will be private.
