Joyce Smith

Joyce Romaine Smith, 81, of Boonsboro, passed from this life on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Sterling Care South Mountain in Boonsboro. She was the loving wife of nearly 59 years to William L. "Bill" Smith.
Born on March 19, 1937, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Lillian Romaine (Coss) Shilling.
She was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School Class of 1955. She was employed as a secretary at the Hagerstown Dairy. Joyce was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Boonsboro where she and Bill were married.
In addition to her husband, Bill, she is survived by her son, Todd W. Smith of Boonsboro; two grandchildren, Andrea M. Smith of Halfway and Eric W. Smith of Boonsboro;
She was preceded in death by her sister, Joan A. Shank.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Boonsboro Cemetery. Rev. Robert Lewis will officiate.
