Joshua Adam "Josh" Short, 29, of Hagerstown passed unexpectedly on Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was the husband of Amanda Short.
Born May 7, 1989 in Baltimore, he was the son of William Short and wife, Patty, and the late Tammy Groom.
Josh was employed with Doggett & Co. of New Market as a technician.
He enjoyed legos, comic books, Game of Thrones, and was an avid Ravens fan. He loved his cats, Davos and Sookie, and his dog, Louisa.
Josh loved life and his gift of life will live as an organ donor with the Living Legacy Foundation.
In addition to his wife, father and step-mother, Josh is survived by step-sister, Kayla Mobley and boyfriend, Bryan; grandmother, Elaine Short; aunt, Penny Short and husband, Donny; uncle, James Short and wife, Sue; uncle, Walter Short III; brother, Brian Hiltner and wife, Emily; father and mother-in-law, Walter and Alexandra Albright; godson, Arlo Jackson; and many friends and family members.
He was predeceased by his mother, and grandfather, Walter Short, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21 from the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be private.
