Josh Betson
October 20, 1996 — March 23, 2020
Josh Betson, 23, of Silver Spring, MD and formerly of Frederick, MD passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2020.
Born in Frederick, MD, Josh was the son of Robert Betson and the late Pamela Betson. He graduated from Oakdale High School. Josh loved the outdoors with fishing being his favorite pastime along with fixing things. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his father, Robert, Josh is survived by his stepmother, Beverly Betson; siblings, Jackie and Ashley; step-siblings, Nicole, Adam and Nick; grandparents, Joan and Eric Gatrell and Rick Gillespie; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In addition to his mother, Josh was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Betson; and his grandmother, Jody Gillespie.
