Joseph R. Pere

Mr. Joseph R. Pere, 75,of Frederick died on Monday November 30, 2009 at Northampton Manor Nursing Home, Frederick. He was the wife of Peggy L. Pere.

Born on January 8, 1934 in Monticello N.Y. he was the son of the late Joseph and Edith Ernhout Pere.

Joseph loved sports and was and avid New York Giants and New York Yankees fan. He was a fan of NASCAR and Jeff Gordon. He enjoyed his time spent with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children Raymond Dill of New York, Raymond Pere of Thurmont, Karen DiSimone and husband James of New York, Kathy Rault and husband Joseph of Georgia, Thomas Pere of Georgia, Linda King of Frederick, Wanda Wachter and Corky DeGrange of Frederick, Edith Degrange of Frederick and Pauline Harris and husband Michael of Frederick. 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Special great grandchildren Brandon Bubba Ridgely and Juleea Toasty Hageman. One sister Ginger Price of New York. Sister in law Jackie Pere of New York. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Pere was preceded in death by a son Randy Michael Pere. Brothers Raymond and Gene Pere, and one sister Joyce Dill.

Services: The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 2, 2009 from 6pm until time of memorial services at 7:00pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The Reverend Lloyd Fuss will officiate.

Interment will be private.
