Mrs. Josephine Juanita Edwards Kidwell Clem, 92,  of Rohrersville, MD died peacefully, December 26, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.    She was the wife of the late William Edgar Kidwell and second husband the late Edward Allen Clem.

Born March 9, 1922 in Garrets Mill, MD she was the daughter of the late Frederick Harrison and Martha Mildred Main Edwards.

Mrs. Clem was a 1939 graduate of Brunswick High School and graduated from the Hagerstown Business College.  Josephine worked for 30 years in Federal Service, with MD Civil Defense, Ft. Detrick and N.I.H. retiring in 1987.  She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, bird watcher, enjoyed playing cards and was a Baltimore Orioles fan.  Josephine was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Mary Beachley and husband Carl of Frederick, Edgar Stephen Kidwell of Knoxville, Martha Murray and husband Louis, II of Fredericksburg, VA and Carl Tevis Kidwell and wife Jenifer of Knoxville; grandchildren Louis Murray, III, Ann Beachley, Michele Hampton, Carl Timothy Beachley, Stephen Cosmo Kidwell, Sonta Lynn Wilburn, Nicholas Joseph Kidwell and Carly Elizabeth Kidwell; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She will also be remembered by her caretakers Ellie Best and Shirley Meyers.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 4-7PM.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 30 at 11:30AM at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 2150 Boteler Rd., Brownsvill, MD.  Rev. Charles R. Holder will offiicate.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church at the said above mentioned address.

Interment will follow at Brownsville Cemetery.
