Joseph Waybright, Sr.

Mr. Joseph E. Waybright Sr. 73, of Walkersville, passed away on February 18, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Carole A. Adams Waybright, his wife of 53 years
Born on February 20, 1940, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late James R. Waybright and Myrtle Williamson Smith. Joseph was Director of Maintenance for the Marriott Corporation.
He was a member of the NRA and Frederick Elks Club. Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, as well as making his own wine and beer.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four daughters: Victoria Keith and husband James of Frederick, June Van Ness and husband Steve of Silver Spring, Katherine Strassberger and husband William of Hagerstown and Theresa Galle and husband Ric of Frederick; a son, Joseph E. Waybright Jr. of Harpers Ferry; a brother, James R. Waybright of LaPlata, a sister, Elizabeth Korn of Oregon; as well as nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr Waybright was preceded in death by a grandson, Casey Andrews and a sister, June Gramont..
Services and interment will be private.
