Joseph Torboli

Joseph Anthony Torboli, 59, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed away on Friday March 9th at 10:43 pm, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland (MD). He was the husband of Judy Ann (Aurand) Torboli.

Born on July 14, 1958, in Cheverly, MD, he was the son of the late Aldo and Annie (DiVincenzo) Torboli Sr. Joseph was a 1976 graduate of Boonsboro High School and the Vocational High School in Hagerstown. He worked for Pepco for many years as a boiler operator after receiving his certification as a stationary engineer.

In addition to his wife, he was survived by his brother, Aldo S. Torboli Jr. and Wife, Susan of Halltown WV, Daughter, Joanna A Torboli of Colorado Springs, CO, Granddaughters, Lucy Zuspan of Hagerstown, MD and Aria Gordon of Colorado Springs, CO, niece and goddaughter, Monica Torboli-Brown, nephew- Aldo Torboli, and great nieces Carley Gayhart, Sydney Smith, and Savanna Torboli along with a great nephew Dominic Torboli.  Other relatives include a brother-in-law John Aurand and step-nieces Sarah, Emily, and Amanda Aurand along with many cousins.

Joseph was the most hard working, generous, and caring man to know. His pleasures were target shooting, hunting, fishing, and dancing.  He also loved music and listening to Dean Martin.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and his many friends.

Visitation and services will be on Thursday, March 15th and held at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren at 1911 Rohrersville Rd, Knoxville, MD 21758. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00 pm. A celebration of life will begin at 2:00pm.  Inurnment will be private.

In Lieu of flowers being sent, the family has requested that donations can be made to the Brownsville Church.
