Mr. Joseph K. Parker, 50, of Westminster, MD., died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Michelle Sharer Parker.
Born May 16, 1962 in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of Rachel Litchfield Parker of Atlanta, GA and the late Hayward Parker, Sr.
Joseph was employed for the State of Maryland for 30 years, most recently at Springfield Hospital Center.
He is also survived by his children Sierra, David and Darius Parker, grandchildren Robert Berry, Jr., Michael Coleman, Jr. and Cayden Parker, siblings Patricia Young, Hayward Parker, Jr., Eddie Parker, Dorothy Scott and Michael Parker and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a sister Barbara Springs and a brother David Parker.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD., Wednesday, September 5, at 7:00 p.m.
Interment will be private.
