Joseph Czarnecki Jr., 77, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Casey Hospice House in Derwood, MD. He was the husband of the late Ann Czarnecki who passed away in 2017.
Born on February 14, 1945, in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph Czarnecki Sr. and Lillian (LaRue) Czarnecki.
Joe and Ann married in 1965, just prior to the start of his military career. He was a Vietnam Veteran, proudly serving his country with the 101st Airborne as a paratrooper. He retired from the military in 1988. Following his retirement, he worked as a correctional officer at the State of Florida Detention Center in Martin County, Florida from 1989-1999.
He was a kind and generous person to all he met. He would make anyone laugh with his smile and sense of humor. Joe especially loved spending time with his family, and he held a special fondness for dogs.
