Joseph Chandler

Mr. Joseph Wilson Chandler, 81, of Frederick, MD passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Heartfield's Assisted Living in Frederick. He was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn Garrison Chandler.
Born July 13, 1934 in Charleston, WV he was the son of the late Toby "O.D." and Jeanette Wilson Chandler.
Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He attended both Marshall University and Morris Harvey College earning his bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In his leisure time, Joseph, enjoyed reading and collecting stamps and rare coins.
He is survived by his son Joseph W. Chandler, II; sister the Rev. Nan Chandler; grandchildren Christian J. Chandler and Cassandra L. Chandler and daughter-in-law Carolyn J. Chandler.
He is preceded in death by his grandchildren Jacob Joseph Chandler and Luke Charles Chandler.
A memorial service will be held at a later date per the family's request.
