Jordan Smith

Jordan Daniel Smith of Frederick MD passed away suddenly on December 1, 2016. Jordan is the son of Shannon Smith Houck of Hagerstown, MD and custodial parents, Frank (Dad) and Shelly (Mom) Smith of Adamstown, MD.

Jordan had a passion for music, aspiring to write lyrics and make beats.  He never missed an opportunity to remind us who was the greatest. He may not have been discovered yet but anyone that really knew him, knew he had a special gift. He was confident in his mannerisms. His family, friends and strangers were drawn to his  charismatic and magnetic personality. He was looked up to by his siblings and a valuable member of his family. He loved his friends and loved to make us all smile. He was kind and had a loving heart.  But more than anything, Jordan was the proud and loving father of Jayden, who he adored with all his heart and cherished him always.

Jordan Daniel Smith was a son,father, grandson, brother, and a friend to many. Survivors include stepfather (Dad), Justin Houck and stepmother Sherry Brice Houck; siblings, Kyle, Darianne, Azia, Kaylee, and Nathaniel of Brunswick MD and Brannon Giovanni of Sykesville MD. Uncle, Frankie Smith  and his wife Missy Smith; cousins, Justin, Jared, Jake, Laura, and Samantha. Aunt, Amy McGreevy and her husband Matt McGreevy, cousins, Christian (CJ), Haleigh Seek, and Liam.  Jordan leaves behind a son, Jayden Daniel Smith and mother of Jayden, Alicia Wachter of Frederick MD. Grandmother, Amanda Joy Houck and many extended relatives that loved him.  Jordan was preceded in death by Uncle James (Jimmy) Seek of Hyattsown MD.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike Frederick, MD 21702 on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tim May officiating.

Interment Hyattstown United Methodist Church Cemetery.
