John Carroll Richardson (JayC) went to Glory on August 13, 2016. Born October 3, 1987 in Frederick, he was the proud son of John Maurice Richardson of Mt. Airy, and Carol Bowie of Frederick.

Jay enjoyed fishing with his children, listening to his old music, and trying to beat his sister at Michael Jackson dance on PS3. When Jay walked into a room you would see a big smile on his face and you couldn't help but smile too.

Jay received his high school diploma in 2007. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Walkersville, where he gave his life to the Lord and was baptized. He participated in various activities with his family in the church, including the inner city ministry in Frederick with his parents. Later he attended West Falls Christian Community Church, where he sang on the praise team with his family.
