John E. Mills

Mr. John E. Mills, 61, of New Market, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Pam W. (Rowe) Mills.
Born on June 2, 1947, in Washington, he was the son of Dorothy (Hickman) Mills and the late Benjamin Mills.
Mr. Mills retried after 30-plus years of service in the banking and financial industry. He enjoyed traveling with his wife especially on Caribbean cruises and to Las Vegas. He was an avid golfer.
Surviving beside his wife and mother are a brother, Tom Mills, mother- and father-in-law, Joan and Gordon Rowe. He is also survived by other family and friends.

Services: Family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, at which time memorial services will begin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
