John E. Cline

John E. "Butch" Cline, 69, of Frederick, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy, MD
Born on March 8, 1948. he was the son of the late Ralph J. Cline and Ida (Brust) Cline.
Butch attended Walkersville High School and obtained his Associates Degree in Business from Frederick Community College.
He worked at Dewey Jordan and later retired from Cline and Duvall Well Drilling.
He was member at the Frederick Elks Lodge# 684 and the NRA. Butch loved working in his yard, watching the birds,and feeding his squirrels, An avid sports fan, he especially loved golfing and the Creagerstown Baseball Team.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patricia Jones Cline; his children, Karen Rader & her Fiance, Frank, and Sharen Gartrell & husband, Ron; brother, Robert Cline Sr.(Ann); sisters, Anna Moore (James), Ruth Pyles (Donald), Barbara Hammond; grandchildren, M.Alan Englebrecht (Clair), Steven Englebrecht (Jennifer), Rebecca Monath (Ben), Sara Little (Zack), Matthew Gartrell. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Stauffer Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Burial will held privately at Mt.Olivet Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, St.Jude, or the Kline Hospice House.
