John Robert (Bobby) Vanhoozer, Sr., 70, of Sharpsburg, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland after a long illness and while surrounded by his family and friends.

Bobby never met a stranger, he loved life and lived it to the fullest and smiled even though he was in pain.  He loved the Lord and when he was able he would often play his guitar and sing.  Heaven is getting a special angel who will be greatly missed.    Bobby we will love you forever.

The Vanhoozer family would like to thank the Doctors and staff at Meritus Medical Center for their loving care - it seemed that he adopted every nurse on 4E and 4W into his family.  Thank you to all of you for taking such special care of him.
