Mr. John Franklin Wiles, 88, of Frederick died on Monday, July 5, 2010 at Homewood at Crumland Farms. He was the devoted husband and caregiver of the late Mary C. Wiles, who died in August 2008.
Born on December 31, 1921 in Frederick , he was the son of the late John W. T. and Ella Mae Wiles.
John had worked at Sowell Tire and Battery Co. of Frederick, Tire Mart, Frederick, Frederick Bottled Gas of
Frederick
and
Irving
’s Tire Service also of
Frederick
until his retirement.
He had a genuine love of gardening and golfing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy A. Neal and husband, Robert B. of Middletown, grandson, Randy B. Neal of Middletown, brother, Thomas Wiles of Adamstown, sister in law Josephine Stevens of Martinsburg, WV and brother in law, Austin Keyser of Frederick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Alice Wenner, Catherine Miller, Lula Altman and Ella Mae Laudermilk and brothers, Robert and Irving Wiles.

at Crumland Farms.
Visitation will be held from
6-9 pm
on Friday, July 9, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike,

where funeral services will be held at
11:00am
on
Saturday, July 10, 2010

Olivet
