John Weddle, Jr.

John C. Weddle, Jr. , 73, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Northampton Manor Health Care Center in Frederick, MD

Born on October 7, 1948, in Thurmont, he was the son of the late John C Weddle, Sr. and Evelyn Manahan Weddle.

John worked at Jeannie Buzzard, W.L. Woolsworth and Burger King. He had many friends at the ARC and UCP Center. John was very proud of his many awards earned at the Special Olympics. He was a collector of many things, being especially fond of his stamp and post card collections.

He is survived by his brother, David "Eddie" Weddle, sister-in-law Patricia A. Weddle, nephew Jeff Kefauver; grandnieces: Brittany and Samantha Kefauver; grandnephew Trent Kefauver and great grandnephew Lane Funt. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother and sister as well as numerous anuts and uncles

A graveside service and interment will take place at 1:30 PM on Sunday, June 12 at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Thurmont, MD.
