Mr. John L. Stein Jr. 88 of Somerford assisted living Frederick, Maryland, died on Monday December 9, 2013 at the Kline Hospice House, Mt. Airy, MD. He was the devoted husband to the late Anna K. Stein.
Born in Baltimore on December 15, 1924 he was the son of the late John L. Sr. and Clara Slade Stein.
Surviving are his two sons, Rich Stein and wife Chris of Mt. Airy, MD, and Rob Stein and wife Robin of Springfield, VA. Grandchildren; Meredith Jones, Rebecca Stein, Jonathan Stein and Lauren Stein. Great Grandson Dylan Jones.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00am on Sunday December 15, 2013 at the Stauffer Funeral Homes P. A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD. 21702. A reception will follow at the funeral home. The Rev. Tom Fralin will officiate. Inurnment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers contributions in John’s name should be made to the Kline Hospice House, P. O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
