John Sipocz, Sr.
June 28, 1956 — April 29, 2017
John Michael Sipocz, Sr., passed away peacefully April 29, 2017 at UMMC. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Traci Sipocz.
Born June 28, 1956 in Flint, MI he was the son of the late Joseph, Sr. and June Campbell Sipocz.
He is survived by his children Jessica Whitehead and husband Derek, Sr., John Sipocz, Jr. and Kylee Sipocz and fiance Ian McMillen; grandchildren Derek, Jr. and Ryan; siblings Joseph Sipocz, Jr. and wife Linda, Jerry Sipocz and wife Patti, Jeff Sipocz and wife Cathy, Jolene Mollerick and husband Glen, Chris Mohns and wife Marie, Stephanie Dickerson and husband Mike and numerous nieces and nephews and special niece Sarah Familette. He will also be missed by his dog Gizmo. He is also survived by his mother and father in-law Inez and Frank Harpster and Robert and Janice Sikora.
John had a love for football and his team the Detroit Lions. He was a family man and loved his family more than anything.
He was predeceased by his two brother-in-laws William and Thomas Schrock.
The family will receive friends at Bast Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 11AM-1PM where a funeral will begin at 1PM. Pastor Alan Smith will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Brownsville Church Cemetery.
