John Shuff

John M. Shuff , 93, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Golden Living Nursing Home in Frederick, MD.
Born on February 14, 1925, in Thurmont, MD, he was the son of the late Albert Shuff and Corday (Reed) Shuff.
He was the predeceased by his wife, Rheada E. Shuff.
John proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a core maker with Frederick Iron and Steel and a mixer driver for Superior Concrete.
John was a member life member with the American Legion, Post 168, a life member with the V.F.W., Am Vets, Post #7 and the Thurmont United Methodist Church.
He loved to travel all over the country with beloved wife Rheada.
He is survived by nephew, Curtis L. Shuff, Sr. and numerous great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street Thurmont, MD.
A celebration of John's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont, MD. Rev. Warren Rice will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Prospect Church Cemetery in Thurmont, MD.
