John McKenna

John Patrick McKenna, age 74, passed away after a courageous and fierce battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, October 29, 2015. John was born in Manhattan, NY
on November 30, 1940. For 38 years he worked as the Business Administrator for the Montgomery County School District.
He is preceded in death by his parents Kathleen Sherry McKenna and Peter McKenna, as well his older brother Peter McKenna. The cherished brother is survived by Mary Patricia McKenna Ryan and Margaret Rose McKenna McGuire. He is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
John loved football and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. Above all else John was a caring, sweet man with a willingness to lend a helping hand.
We will remember him lovingly and miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m. Mass will be begin at 11 a.m. All services will take place at St. Michael's Church at 1125 St. Michael's Road, Mt. Airy, MD 21771 (For GPS use Poplar Springs, MD).
