John Manhollan

Mr. John Ronald "Ron" Manhollan Sr., 76 of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Martha Cramer Manhollan his wife of 55 years.

Born on December 23, 1939, in Youngstown, OH, he was the son of the late John George and Mary Virginia Nord Manhollan.

He was part owner and President of Manhollan and Cramer Inc., a masonry company in Mt. Airy.

Ron enjoyed classic Corvettes as well as his collection pocket knives and watches. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan, but his true love was spending time with his wife and family

Surviving are three children: Donna M. Hawkins and husband Steve, John R. Manhollan, Jr. and wife Marie of Mt. Airy, Jeffrey C. Manhollan and wife Sue of North Carolina; eight grandchildren: Stephen M. Hawkins, Jr. and wife Jessica, Bryan Manhollan, Christopher B. Hawkins and wife Jaclynn, Rusty A. Manhollan and wife Kara, Christina M. Manhollan and fiancé Brandon Stevens, Jessica S. Manhollan, Jeffrey C. Manhollan, Jr. and James A. Manhollan; great grandchildren Stevie and Madison Hawkins; and a sister, Virginia Pratt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, MaryAnn Holley and a brother, Albert Manhollan.

Graveside services and interment will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 10, in Pine Grove Cemetery, S. Main St. Mt. Airy.

The family will then receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Airy Full Gospel Church, 13949 Penn Shop Road, Mt. Airy where services will begin at 12:00 PM with Rev. Tom Gue officiating.
