John Keedy, Sr.

John Allen Keedy, Sr., 76, of Rohrersville, Maryland, passed from this life while surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Born on February 23, 1939, in Rohrersville, he was the son of the late Ira Mullendore and Margaret Elizabeth (Huffer) Keedy.
John worked as an Auto Mechanic for Toyota for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patsy L. (Hutzell) Keedy; one daughter, Kimberly K. Wesmiller and husband Michael, and one son, John A. Keedy, Jr., all of Rohrersville; one sister, Anna Mae Grimm of Boonsboro; two brothers, David Keedy and wife Betty, and Robert Keedy and wife Sharon, all of Hagerstown; and four grandchildren, John A. Keedy, III, Ashley Keedy, Mikaela Wesmiller, and Sierra Wesmiller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Argyle Keedy.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rev. R. Thomas Fralin, Jr. will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Locust Grove.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the ceremony at the funeral home on Wednesday.
