John Keedy, III

John Allen Keedy, III, 36, of Hagerstown, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 10 at his residence. Born on May 30, 1980, in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of John Allen Keedy, Jr. and Judy (Harbaugh) Brashears.
John was a cashier and was employed by Dollar General. In the past, he had worked for FedEx, Mountainside Deli and Weis. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by step-siblings, Ashley Keedy, Amanda Nally and Kyle Brashears and wife Jessie, nieces and nephews Savannah and Madelyn Nally and Caleb Brashears as well as his grandmothers, Doris Harbaugh, Patsy Keedy and Betty Brashears and numerous other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Harbaugh, John Keedy, Sr. and Bernard Brashears, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.
