John Harrison
January 19, 1924 — September 13, 2010
Mr. John R. Harrison, 86 of Frederick, Maryland, passed away, Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Citizens Nursing Home. He was the husband of Edna Keeney Harrison, his wife of more than 31 years.
Born January 19, 1924 he was the son of the late Garland W. and Ida V. Cooper Harrison.
Mr. retired from the Government.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Audrey Marick, Billy Harrison, Beverly Hargrove and Dr. L. Clifton Fuhrman, Jr., ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, and a sister Kathleen V. McDonald. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by two children John G. Harrison and Ellen Virginia Moore, five brothers and one sister.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, September 16, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 p.m., where services will be held Friday, September 17 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment Rocky Hill Cemetery.
