John Luther Bowersox, 77, of Taneytown, MD passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

He was born June 6, 1947, in Lewisburg, PA to the late Carl Aseph and Arlene Fay Bowersox.
He graduated from West Snyder H. S. in 1965 and went into the Pa Army National Guard in October of that year, where he served for 5 years.

He had different jobs while living in PA. Wood Mode, Bethlehem Steel., and farming. During his life in MD he owned Studio 20 Printing for 30 years before his retirement. During those years he was also involved in a printing and mailing business, Frederick Falcons Semi-pro Football team, Blue Mountain Inn restaurant. He was a work-a-holic and could not say no to anyone.
He was a member of the Taneytown American Legion.
He enjoyed watching Nascar and spending time in Myrtle Beach.

He is survived by his wife, Jone

  Christopher (Alexandra) of Walkersville, MD
  Derek (Allison) of Stewartstown, PA
Grandchildren: Collin, Luisa, Jonathen, Brady, Grace, Kylie, Makenzie
Brother: Roger Bowersox of Middleburg, PA
Uncle: Clair Bowersox of Beavertown, PA

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 4-7 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD and there will also be visitation at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home in Watsontown, PA on June 17, 2024 from 11-1 with a brief service at the Elimsport Cemetery, Elimsport, PA.
Luncheon will be served at Elimsport Methodist Church following the service.
