Johanna {Nan} Wolfe
April 29, 1915 — January 28, 2009
Mrs. Johanna Wolfe ( Nan ) 93, of Taney Village, Frederick, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 .
She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and emigrated to Wall Township, NJ, where she married Edward Wolfe. They retired to Ocala, FL. After her husband death she moved to Frederick.
Johanna was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Frederick. She loved playing Bingo, reading and enjoyed spending time with family and her friends at
Taney Village and the Senior Center.
She is survived by her children, sons, Ronald Lyons and wife Roberta of Frederick, David Lyons and wife Maria of Mineola, NY, Benjamin Witmer and wife Sharon of Sunbury, PA, daughters, Catherine Lebo and husband Roger of Herndon, PA, Carolyn Rebuck of Lock Haven, PA, and Margaret Jobes of Gastonia, NC. Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Beside her husband she was preceded in death by a son Gordon Lyons.
Services: There will be no funeral services or visitation. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Monmouth Park, NJ.
