Joanne J. McIntosh

Mrs. Joanne J. McIntosh, 79, of Frederick died on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Leslie Jene McIntosh who died in 1982.
Born on July 5, 1927, in Fairfield, Iowa she was the daughter of the late Hal Dee and Frances L. Stucker Junkins. Mrs. McIntosh was a retired RN, working at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney, MD from 1970-1994.
Joanne was a fun loving prankster and an avid reader; but was also a good listener and a second Mom to many of her family and friends.
Surviving are 3 children: Hal R. McIntosh, M. Sue Parker and Leslie J. Hettich; 9 grandchildren: Laura Jo, Andrew, Neva, Jessica, Ryan, Celeste, Dustin, Corey and Melissa; 3 great grandchildren: Claire, Molly and baby Grundy; and a brother-in-law, Francis W. McIntosh.
Mrs. McIntosh was preceded in death by a son, F. Kirk McIntosh.

Services: Graveside services and interment will take place at 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 15, at Parklawn Memorial Park, Veirs Mill Rd., Rockville, MD.
