Joanne Fischetti Lyon, 48 of Frederick, Maryland, passed away in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, October 5, 2008. She was the loving wife of Joe Lyon.
Born January 5, 1960 in New York she was the daughter of Mino and Charlene La Paglia of South Carolina.
She was a 2007 graduate of Mount St. Mary's. She was certified as an Enrolled Agent for the IRS. She was a quick books advances certified professional and she was preparing to sit for her CPA exam.
Joanne's motto was Live, Laugh, Love. She lived life to the fullest, greeting each day and person with a smile. Her smile would brighten any room and no person who ever met her did not walk away happier for having done so. She loved to motorcycle ride, free and in the wind. Her talents were many; from sewing to wallpapering to fixing a sink. She brightened so many lives, especially that of the man who waited so long to marry her.
She finally found the man who loved her 26 years ago and married him. They were soulmates; always destined to be together at some time. She was greatly loved and will be missed by more people than she can imagine.
In addition to her loving husband Joe and her parents she is survived by her four children, Lindsey Erdmann of Frederick, Jeffrey Erdmann of Frederick, Stacy Carter and husband Anthony of Frederick and Benjamin Lyon of Frederick, three grandchildren, Dominic David Carwithen, Jacob Edward Erdmann and Laila Jean Carter. Two brothers, Richard and Anthony Fischetti, a sister, Lisa Fischetti and a new sister, Judy Toms.
She will be greatly missed by all of her special Ya-Ya's (LYLAS), Annette, Donna K., Annie, Theresa, Sharon, Barbara and Donna N.
She will also be remembered by her special girlfriends Carrie and Kathy, all of her numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
