Joan Mindte

Mrs. Joan M. Mindte, 81, of Frederick, MD., passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Sunrise Assisted Living. She was the wife of the late Richard N. Mindte.
Born February 22, 1934 in Olney, MD, she was the daughter of the late Claiborne H. Mannar and Janet Fridinger Mannar.
Joan enjoyed the events and spending time with everyone at Sunrise. She was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children Laura A. Eaton of Littleton, Co, Richard C. Mindte of Eldersburg, MD and Annette North of Deale, MD, grandchildren Thomas Eaton, Jr, Tara Eaton, Kara Mindte, Jennifer Mindte, Ricky Mindte, Alicia North and Lee North, six great grandchildren and two sisters Jean Glasgow and Carol Mannar and a nephew Wayne Glasgow. She was preceded in death by her son Mark W. Mindte.
A memorial service will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Friday, October 16. at 3:00 pm with Father Michael Jendrick officiating. Reception to follow at Stauffer’s.
