Ms. Joan Hines, 59, of Frederick, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday October 21, 2011.
Born on August 22, 1952 in New York, she was the daughter of the late Zedekiah and Mattie Vincent Hines.
She was a homemaker and spent a lot of time preaching to people about Jehovah. She enjoyed attending the Frederick Senior Center where she played bingo. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Frederick.
Surviving are two children, Shawn Hines of Richmond, VA, and Temikki Morrison and husband Robert of Frederick. Daughter in law, LaDawn Richardson of Richmond, VA. Grandchildren, Robert Morrison Jr., Robert Lexie, Jr., Quadaisha Lexie, Anthony Morrison and Nicholas Hines. Brotherrs, Robert Vincent and Timothy Hines. Sisters, Doris King, Arnita James and Carrie King. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6706 Carpenter Road, Frederick, MD 21703. Interment will be private.
