Mrs. Joan M. Deibler, 77, of Walkersville, MD passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Donald R. Deibler for 58 years.
Born on January 23, 1937 in Spencerville, MD she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Thelma Brown Zeigler.
Joan attended Sherwood High School, first grade -twelfth grade, where she maintained friendships throughout the years. She worked in Real Estate sales prior to her retirement. Joan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking and scrap booking.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Donald Deibler, Jr. and wife Bonnie of NC, Kenneth Deibler and wife Kathy of Clarksville and Thomas Deibler of Ellicott City; 6 grandchildren; brother Larry Zeigler of VA and sisters Frances Crotty of FL and Ida Dieffenderfer of NC.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, Walkersville, 40 Fulton Ave., on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 11AM-12PM where a memorial service will begin at 12PM. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Co., #11, and or Rescue Squad, #24, P.O. Box 425, Walkersville, MD 21793.
Interment will be private.
